lua-rex-pcre-dev software package provides PCRE development files for the Lua language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lua-rex-pcre-dev
lua-rex-pcre-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lua-rex-pcre-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lua-rex-pcre-dev *
You will get with lua-rex-pcre-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
